Lake Victim John Glass Found After Duck Hunting Trip
The body of John Glass 23 of Fort Worth was recovered Sunday in Lake Proctor by a woman while fishing with her husband. Glass and two companions went missing January 19 during a duck hunt. the other two bodies were found the same day. Justice of the Peace Howard Baker ruled death by exposure from a boating accident. Dragging operations and volunteer searches continued for days.

New Guinean Evangelist Bishop Mileng to Speak in Comanche
Bishop Mileng, fourth son of the late Pastor Mileng of Karkar Island, will speak at 9:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Comanche and at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church of Priddy on March 16. Andrew Mild, pastor of both churches, recalls Mileng as a child before WWII in New Guinea. Mileng has served as teacher and evangelist, traveled for church missions in the South Pacific and Europe, attended the 1963 LWF Assembly in Helsinki, and was named Bishop of the Madang District in last year. He is married with four sons, all in Madang Lutheran Day School.
