DANTEL FAMILY RE-UNION AT GUSTINE
The annual J T Daniel family reunion was held at the home of Mr and Mrs W Rambo in Gustine on Monday June 24. All children attended except Leonard Daniel of Galveston and Otho Daniels of San Augustine. Pioneer settlers Mr and Mrs Daniels had moved from Waco to Galveston three months earlier and traveled by car to Gustine, visiting relatives in Waco and Dallas en route. A plentiful picnic lunch followed by instrumental music from Mr and Mrs J E L Nobineon completed the day, with families of J OT Daniel and J T Daniel Jr of Galveston, Pearl Cross of Dallas, Joe Gaines and family of Baggett nearby present.
