Sidney loses one of its best men Comanche county mourns Jno C Ross a stable citizen who died Sunday June 16 after an operation in a Brownwood san itarium Born July 13 1851 in Madison county Mississippi he came to Texas in 1874 and to Comanche county in 1878 He leaves a large family and a legacy of church service and community progress.

Death of Mrs. Claude Wells in Dallas
Mrs. Claude Wells died June 14 at St Pauls Sanitarium Dallas and was buried June 15 at Pendergrass Cemetery. A. Vaneleave, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Vancleave, born March 30 1895 in Comanche county, grew up there and married Claude Wells November 2 1913 at Sidney. they had two children who survive. Waldrop Lyon Wedding Held At Dalhart Home
The wedding of Fred Lyon and Wynnie Waldrop took place yesterday June 14 at the groom’s mother’s home in Dalhart with Rev. F T Charlton officiating. The couple receive warm congratulations from many friends.
