Zephyr Captain Killed in Action Over Africa
Capt T H McArthur of Zephyr, pilot of a P 38 Lightning, was killed in action May 3 in the African theatre. He served overseas since October 1942 and earned the Air Medal in April for downing a German Messerschmitt. He also downed an Italian seaplane on February 1. A Zephyr High School graduate and former Daniel Baker College student, he was released by the War department to his parents last week.
