Congressman Martin Dies of Texas will speak to over 100 patriotic societies on June 21 from 9 30 to 10 p m over the National Broadcasting System. He urges immediate passage of his bill to halt immigration from all countries and deport about 3 5 million aliens while claiming 6 million aliens take American jobs, with four to five million members of the organizations listening.

Auto Patrol In Service Here In Comanche County
Commissioner Sam Lewis placed an Auto Patrol into service to improve Mercer Gap and White Point roads. Operated by Sam Phifer, the 18,000 pound diesel Caterpillar costs about 5000 dollars, features a 14 foot blade, and can level beds and cut weeds. It runs on diesel, claimed 40 miles of rural roads daily, and uses about 40 cents per day. A second patrol is sought by Commissioner L F Little with a similar model and a sear after option.

Lions Club backs drum corps for Comanche Band
At a Lions Club meeting on Tuesday the club guaranteed the purchase price of 12 drums for the Comanche Band new Drum Corps. A committee will seek public donations to fund the acquisition, which Pat Howard, director, says will energize parades football games and other public events.
