Remains of Nelson Matthews Brought to Gustine for Burial
The body of Nelson Matthews, formerly of Comanche County, passed through the city on Sunday en route to Gustine for interment. He died recently in Oklahoma and had been buried there before relatives had the remains disinterred for reburial. He is survived by brother Mack Matthews and three sisters Mesdames Willie Mason of Menard Dick Vernon of Gustine and Miss Johnnie Matthews of Gustine. He was fifty three years old and the death details and last residence are not known.
