Sheep killed by lightning near Mercer Creek
Twenty one sheep died in a thunder storm that hit near Mercer Creek. Jack Clayton reported the flock suffered losses including 11 ewes, 1 ram, and 9 lambs after the rain ended and the animals were found under a live oak. One ram was found about a hundred yards away.
