Dublin-Cannon Is Pioneer Novelty Store
The Brownwood shop now called Dublin and Canon began with A. P. Jones almost fifty years ago, remained under two owners, and matured into a large modern store. L. E. Dublin joined Jones and Dublin about nineteen years ago, later O. B. Canton and L. B. Dublin bought Jones, renaming to Dublin & Canon. Originally stationery and novelties, the store expanded to radios, refrigerators, phonographs, records, school supplies, athletic goods, gift and party departments, office supplies, typewriters, books, and toys. Dublin, Canon, and staff invite customers to visit anytime.
