Heart Attack Fatal for Mrs. Lewis Isham at 49
Mrs. Lewis Isham died at home in the Sidney community Sunday morning after a heart attack. She was not ill prior and passed in about five minutes. Efforts to locate her daughter Janetha Stevens in Alaska continue as officers aid in tracing the Comanche couple. Charlsie Lucille Livingston, born October 9 1902 in Comanche County, was the daughter of C. P. Livingston and residing near Blanket Route 2.

Political Rally Set in Comanche July 19 Night
A county wide political rally will be held in Comanche on Saturday night July 19. Eddie Jones and Bob Carpenter announce sponsors include the Chamber of Commerce and The Chief. Precinct candidates for national offices invited to present merits and contact Carpenter for speaking slots. Special entertainers will accompany the program on the courthouse lawn.

Oil drilling plots mapped near Rising Star and Lampasas County
Lewis Lambert and W G Rogers of Dallas plan six wells in the Sipe Springs Field eleven miles southeast of Rising Star. Each well contracts for 2790 feet using cable tools on a 65 acre Beatty Seal and Forwood Survey 2 tract. No 1 Haile sits 264 by 175 feet from north and east lines, with others positioned similarly. Fort Worth Exploration Co plans a 3000 foot cable tool wildcat in Lampasas County, four miles north of unknown point, near Block 31.

Rev J M Metcalf outlines a one week revival starting July 5 at the newly organized church with Sunday School at 10 am and morning service at 11 am. Eight top softball teams enter the Comanche Annual Invitation Tournament starting Wednesday night July 9. Double headers run Wednesday to Saturday with prizes of 100 for first, 50 for second and 25 for third and fourth. Sun Drive-In Theatre Sold to Flemins and Arthur
Harrold Flemins and Jack Arthur, owners of Comanche Majestic and Ritz Theatres, purchased the Sun Drive-In on Fort Worth Highway east of Comanche. New owners took charge July 1, Sun Drive-In built by four Colorado City men and now part of Arthur and Flemins theatre group expanding Stephenville era.
