The Mystery Tower and the Woods Mills Chronicle
Mrs Wilkerson questions the identity of the mystery tower near Comanche and recounts court records about L B Wood and the Woods Mill on Flat Creek. Sworn statements by William Gannon and James Thomas detail construction work in 1873 74 and a 1875 judgment, suggesting the tower’s significance lies in local economic history rather than a dramatic ruin.
