The Comanche Study Club met January 10, 1952 at the home of Mrs. H N and Berta Goodson. Nineteen of twenty five members answered roll call with an international news item. The afternoon topic was United Nations and Building a Road to Peace.

Stag Creek Quilting Club Christmas Meeting Recap
The Stag Creek Quilting Club held a December 11 Christmas party at Mrs. Lloyd Ocker s home with thirteen members. Officers were elected and club pals drawn for the year. Refreshments were served and plans made to meet January 8 at Mrs. Preston May s home. The community Christmas tree event at Mrs. Lane s included a decorated tree and refreshments, with lower attendance due to arid weather.

Eighty five members attended the January 8 meeting in the school lunch room. Mrs. James Wilkerson presided as songs were led by first grade students directed by Miss Edna Harris and others. A course for the Parent Teachers Procedure was announced for January 25 at First Methodist Church.
