Leverett Little Ex-County Official Dies in Comanche Texas
Leverett Little former Comanche County official died at home 1105 N Houston about 10 a.m. Sunday December 30 after a three week illness that began with a heart attack. He served four years as County Clerk and eight years as County Commissioner of Precinct No 1. Funeral services were held at First Methodist Church with Rev. Raymond M Burton and Rev. J D Smoot officiating. burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. He was born June 23, 1876 in Kentucky and moved to Comanche County as a child. He married Nanny Greene on April 20, 1909 and was a longtime Mason and active Methodist. Surviving are his wife and two communities noted by strong support during campaigns.
