Drive Ends Comanche Fund Closure Set for Jan 10 1975
The Comanche Community Fund will close January 10 1975 after delays in the drive. Directors meet January 13 at 7 30 p m in the T P and L room to distribute funds and decide allocations for eleven organizations. About 4500 of the 7500 goal has been raised as of printing.

County Livestock Show Set For Jan 16 17
The 40th Annual Comanche County Junior Livestock Show runs January 15 to 17 with 367 entries from 225 exhibitors. Judging starts January 16 at 9:00 a.m. for swine and sheep, followed by cattle. The 17th annual auction sale is Friday at 7:00 p.m. at McDougall Auction Barn.

The Comanche FFA Chapter and 4 H Clubs host a county livestock show at the Comanche County Livestock Center on Saturday January 11. Entries are due by 8 p.m. Friday January 4. The event features 72 market steers 29 beef heifers 17 milk fed steers 71 market lambs and 149 market barrows plus 25 breeding swine. Judges Leroy McDaniel Layton Black and Tim Stone will judge swine sheep goats and cattle respectively.
