Comanche County Electric Cooperative will sponsor all expenses for 12 day Government in Action Youth Tour participants to Washington DC. Four men seek two city council seats in the April 3 election. James Mercer and Stanley Swindle are joined by former councilman Roy Turner and John Carpenter. Turner works at Comanche County Electric Cooperative, Carpenter is a retired Fire Marshall. Mayoral candidates include Paul Mullings and Clarence Schwartz. Five men seek two seats on the Comanche Independent School Board: Charles Ray Levisay, J. M. Dutton, Wayne Stewart, Elton McDonald, and Brooks Kerley. Filing ended Wednesday for both elections.

De Leon Opens Substation for Motor Vehicle Tags
