Death Claims T H Jackson of Sipe Springs
Thomas Hadden Jackson, 80, longtime Comanche County rancher and Sipe Springs resident, died February 90 after nine days of treatment following strokes at his home. Funeral services were held at Sipe Springs Baptist Church. He was born March 4, 1875 in Benton County Arkansas and moved to Texas as a child. He married Julia Ann Wagnon in 1902 and they had five children. Surviving are his wife, five children, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a brother J O Jackson. He was noted for his deep religious faith and prominent ranching and mercantile work in Comanche and Sipe Springs areas.

Comanche Lawyer Bob McCampbell Dies After Long Illness
Bob McCampbell a retired Comanche lawyer died after years of failing health. Funeral services were held at Comanche First Methodist with Rev Earl A Pickett officiating and burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Born August 4 1899 he moved from Alabama to Texas in childhood and later earned a UT law degree before practicing in Germin and Comanche County retiring in 1983. He twice served as county attorney and once ran for county judge. He was married to Ni and is survived by brothers Herdy and Conway.
