Last Lyceum Attraction Makes Big Hit
The Rosita Music Makers' Lyceum show Tuesday evening drew one of the year's most entertaining performances. A stellar violinist and a humorous leader kept the audience in constant applause. The Parent-Teachers Association reported strong finances and signed a contract for 1918 and 1919 with a more ambitious lineup, praise for Prof. Holloway and S. P. Smith and the ladies backing the effort.

Mrs Mary Caroline White aged 86 was buried at Mercers Gap last Saturday afternoon with Rev J T Ferguson officiating. Born August 25 1832 she married W D White in 1854 and had six children three of whom survive. A lifelong Presbyterian, she lived a long useful life and her family receives sympathy.
