Contracts for Two Oil Tests Near Gustine Comanche
The A Hamsler Oil Company secures a lease for 6 000 acres and begins a 1 000 foot test on the J O Stewart tract near Gustine within 80 days. A second 3 200 foot test is planned west of Comanche by O C Chapin of San Antonio and Mr Richardson of Mineral Wells covering 1 1 acres of the C V Bryson Ranch, following Chapin's 1926 Bryson test.
