Mr and Mrs Joe Evridge welcomed as guests Sunday her sister and family Mr and Mrs Milton Dodd and Jamie and Denice LaRue of Andrews plus Mrs Bonnie Northcutt of Comanche. Saturday evening visitors were Mr and Mrs Sam Terry of Stephenville.

Texas Power & Light Company announces new electric service rates under the Public Utility Regulatory Act. The schedules, effective January 26 1977 or as allowed by law, show a 34 percent average rate increase but are expected to raise adjusted gross revenue by 27 percent due to conservation. A full copy of the schedules is on file with the Public Utility Commission in Austin and with each affected municipality and is available at the company’s public offices.
