Rites Held For Charles C Smith 90 in Fort Worth
Funeral services for Charles C. Smith 90 were held Friday at Gause Ware Memorial Chapel with burial in Laura Land Fort Worth. He died December 1 in a Fort Worth hospital after teaching Sunday school in Harmony community Comanche for 17 years and later making Fort Worth his home since 1950. Survivors include two daughters two sons three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also noted are relatives visiting from Cheyenne and a Goldthwaite wedding attendance of Mike Conradt and Marsha Lee.

VA Loans Expand to Mobile Homes for Veterans
The VA regional office in Waco announces mobile home loans for veterans will be available December 22. The new law restores expired GI loan benefits for 89 million WW II and Korean War veterans and preserves benefits for those after January 31, 1955. It eliminates the 0.5 percent funding fee for post Korean veterans on guaranteed and direct home loans and allows direct loans for specially adapted housing to seriously disabled veterans.
