In late December notices from Comanche area youths request gifts for Christmas. Lois Wingfield, Delton Roy Griffith, Loyd Kerley, Joe Scott, and Joe Paul Tupin list items such as a doll, wagon, bicycle, air gun, firecrackers, candy, fruit, an airplane, boxing gloves, a book, wooden letters, and a scooter, expressing hope Santa visits and stays warm.
