William Harris Burial in Corpus Christi

Neighbors report the death of William Harris youngest son of Mr and Mrs A S Harris in New York last Monday. He was buried in Corpus Christi on Thursday. Harris left Comanche twelve years ago to join the Navy and served overseas in World War II before the occupation troops withdrew.

Winfield Wagner presents a letter from B W Berkstresser of Dadeville Alabama. The nephew, now blind, writes with a typewriter and learns to use it. Berkstresser spent twenty one years in the navy and lived in Comanche County between enlistments.

White Christmas Observed by Church With Gift Cross

The Christian Church plans a White Christmas observance on Sunday night December 19 in Dallas Texas.
