Comanche hosts a grand Christmas ball on December 27 at the old Burks-Simmons furniture building. Grand march at 8:30 led by Mr and Mrs George Montgomery with Fort Worth Orchestra. Peanut raisers threaten to quit crop over prices
Peanut raisers in the section, led by J. B. Hambright near Corinth, say they may not plant next year due to current prices. Hambright sold a carload at 60.6 cents in Cleburne, while the local price opened at 57 1/2 cents and rose with two loads reported.

Church plans big Christmas program and Bible goals
