Comanche Independent School District invites bids from individuals or corporations to act as depository and treasurer. The winning bidder with best interest rate and satisfactory bond equal to estimated annual receipts will serve a two year term. Bids due by 12 noon August 12 1925 with the Secretary of the School Board.
The City of Comanche invites bids by Aug 31 for a depository to handle city funds for the year starting Sept 1 1925. Interest on daily balances will be paid Feb 1 and Sept 1 each year. City Secretary Co M Moore signs the notice.
Aug 26 residents of Harmony report visitors from Abilene Blanket and Sidney. Sunday school reorganized with over fifty attendees. Families, including Gore, Rogers, and Smith clans, visited each other. Unveiling service for Mrs. Gore’s monument at Mercer Gap drew many locally.
