Indians Schedule Twice-A-Day Football Practices Ahead of Opener

Comanche High School Indians, a 28-man A team, conduct double daily workouts in preparation for the September 2 season opener at Eastland. Coach James Moffatt and assistants note standout performances by Tommy Steel Harold Perkins and Jerry Todd in Wednesday scrimmage while Roland Collins Swindle Morgan Johnson and Stokes lead on defense and line. Price Support On 1960 Upland Cotton Set At 32.39 and 26.60

Price support for the 1960 upland cotton crop will follow 1959 methods with Choice A at 32.39 cents per pound and Choice B at 26.60 cents per pound. Nonrecourse loans and purchases are capped at $50,000 unless exemptions apply. Agencies approved last year may continue, with others directed to the New Orleans CSS office for eligibility and participation details.

Noel Carol Wilker is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wilker. She weighed seven pounds five and one half ounces at birth. Mother and baby at home 800 North Lane Comanche.
