Citizens Write Editor Letter from Brownwood Texas August 1938
A letter from Brown County farmers and citizens criticizes editor Mr. White for not detailing Mr. Prescott's legislative record. It argues Metcalfe backed more farmer protection measures and school bus bills, while Prescott opposed a soil conservation bill and offered no help to the old, schools, or urgent needs. The note questions White's anti-saloon stance and cites specific journal pages.
