County agents C V Robinson J A Barton R B Jenk C E Tisdale and S A Rosenburg lead the tour sponsored by local agents and groups with hopes of making it an annual event.
A cemetery work day is set at Union Cemetery on Friday August 18. Interested volunteers are urged to attend and assist, per D M Johnson.
The annual Rollins Black reunion will be held at Lake Eanes on August 15. A committee issued the announcement urging full attendance from former classmates and families.
Floyd Warren of Dublin and Miss Oleta Kilgore of Edna Hill were married Saturday afternoon August 5 at 4 30 by Rev. H J Sanders at his Comanche home. Attended by Mr and Mrs Hommie Hancock of Sidney and Mr and Mrs Martin Warren of Dublin.
Mrs W T Pennington former Mercer Gap resident died of a heart attack at her daughter Mrs Ollie Hurst home in Seymour on July 26 aged 70 years and 5 months. She was sister to the late Tobe and Albert Greer of Comanche and left a husband seven children 30 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
