The Comanche County Democratic Convention met at 2 p m in the District Courtroom with County Chairman H 8 Hicks presiding. The body seated delegates from numerous precincts and adopted multiple resolutions praising Governor Hobby and President Wilson plus endorsing state wide prohibition and woman suffrage, and named delegates to various state and national party gatherings.
The Y M C A seeks volunteers for army service and calls Comanche County to provide at least one worker. Supervisors F. J. Reese and W H Carpenter oversee efforts to recruit non draft age volunteers with family allowances provided.
