Hazel Dell history recalls early mills mobs and fate
The Hazel Dell narrative traces a saw and flour mill era from the seventies, listing founders and postmasters, early businesses, and the town’s name evolution from Robinsons Mill to Leon City. It recounts violent mob actions, hangings, and the community’s later quiet, law-abiding present with notable residents.
