De Leon Boys Win Debating Honors in Finals
Seven schools entered the Senior Boys Debating contests with De Leon defeating Coleman in prelims and progressing to beat Dublin in the semis. Cisco then beat Brownwood to reach the finals where De Leon emerged the champion. Dublin won the Senior Girls final over Santa Anna.

San Saba and Santa Anna Meet for Tennis Championship
Yesterday saw lively singles and doubles play with San Saba defeating Lampasas and Santa Anna beating De Leon. Semi finals reduced field to San Saba and Santa Anna, who duel at 10 o clock for the championship while Lampasas and Dublin also compete in morning singles. Girls tennis crowned Coleman over Rising Star.

Preliminaries at 10 a.m. for Class A track events including sprints hurdles and field events with finals in Shot and Discus. Class B holds 50 and 100 and 220 yard dashes 20 yard hurdles and field preliminaries with Shot and Discus finals. At 1 p.m. finals in Track and Field Events Class A and B.
