Two De Leon Men Held In Dublin Knife Attack
Two De Leon residents were jailed in Comanche on aggravated assault charges after a Saturday night dance disturbance in Dublin. Bond was set at 10,000 dollars each. two other Mexican men were wounded, one critically.

Voters in Comanche area choose local, district officials
Comanche area voters, like many in Central Texas, cast ballots for city council, hospital and school boards. The Comanche Independent School District elected three new trustees, with Harold Easley and Bo Elrod unopposed for three year terms and Howard Drennan winning a one year seat. Hospital district results added newcomer Kenneth Gibson, plus incumbents Gayle Isham and Mazurek Jr. Voters in Sidney Gustine De Leon Priddy De Leon Hospital District and other spots also produced multiple incumbents and new members amid light turnout and runoffs where indicated.

Comanche County Jail Held Weekend DWI Arrest Wave
The Comanche County jail became the center of weekend detentions with at least eight people arrested on DWI and drunk charges. DPS Troopers filed DWI complaints for three detainees while five others were jailed Saturday and Sunday on public intoxication charges. Police and sheriff personnel contributed to the arrests, with two by city officers, two by troopers, and one by the sheriff.
