Charities Board Organized in Colville Sunday

The Colville Board of Charities was formed at a mass meeting in the M E church to unify local charitable efforts. Atty F Leo Grinstead presided, with Rev Guy B Denney and others speaking on a plan to include church and civic groups as directors and to direct funds to constructive, accountable relief.

Hotels urged to house visiting teachers during institute

W. O. Cummings announces rooms or board for teachers attending the institute on October 18 to 21. Residents are asked to notify Hotel Lee or Hotel Colville to secure reservations as several hundred visitors are expected for the directors' convention in the city.
