Colville Brewery Through Time in the Colville Valley
An account of the Colville Brewing and Bottling Company founded by John Hofstetter around 1855. It recalls its peak as a regional hub, its wagon-delivered beer to Spokane Fort Spokane and Walla Walla, and its decline with railroads and competition. The article notes current stewards Storms and Kehl, producing about ten barrels per brew, with hopes for growth and resurgence. It closes with local business notices.
