The Colville Examiner states that starting July 1 the annual advance subscription will be $2. Subscriptions for periods under one year will be five cents per week. Until July 1 the paper will accept one year subscriptions at $1.50.
The Colville district Free Methodist church holds its annual campmeeting at Colville city park June 10 to 20. Speakers include Rev I H Marsh Dr O S Tiffany Rev J D Lockard Rev Ralph Milton and others with Rev Geo E Kline in charge. Camp grounds and utilities are provided free and daily services run 10 am 2 30 pm and 7 30 pm.
In a Sunday game on the Colville field, Chewelah led 3 0 until late. Colville rallied in the eighth and ninth innings to win 4 3 behind timely hitting from Joe Rogers and Grover Graham. Glen Snoddy pitched strong relief as Colville fans cheered a return to form. About 300 spectators, with a Chewelah contingent, witnessed the clash ahead of July 4 and 5 rematches.
A county hearing addressed relocating the Stevens County tuberculosis sanitarium near Colville with neighbors opposing its proximity. With the hospital closing and patient removal planned, the board took no action. The facility was originally established east of Colville General Hospital under Dr I S Clark.

The Bank of Colville Dairy Club members list Jersey and Redpoll stock, while Oliver Montgomery and Earl Motteler await the Holsteins. One Jersey heifer died, but Marvin Clark plans to work harvest and replace it later. Mrs. L L Rice Grace Winslow visit Spokane and Cheney. school enrollment at Cheney tops 600 with 300 more expected.
