Murder and robbery at China Camp near Daisy shocks county
The county sheriff believes a carefully planned attack killed Wong Fook Nyn and beat Wong Fook Tye at their Daisy area camp between 8:30 and 9:30 PM Monday. Nyn died from four gunshot wounds. Stewart says Featherkile and an accomplice tried to press him for liquor, then shot him twice after a brief pursuit. eight dollars and seventy three cents were taken, with a hospital prognosis good if pneumonia does not develop.
