Freight Rates Cut for Hay Grain and Feed from Colville
New rates effective January 7 reduce hay and straw costs to several destinations from Colville with Spokane at 13 cents per 100 pounds down from 14, and various towns showing proportional decreases. Wheat mill feed and flour rates to Seattle Tacoma and Portland drop to 30 cents from 38 3/8, while Spokane rate sits at 16 1/2 cents.
