Federal government forms fair price committee in county
The federal food administrator for Washington, Charles Hebberd, has asked J. C. Harrigan to assemble a fair price committee to study rising prices for food and apparel. The panel will review retail and wholesale pricing, shipping, storage, and marketing. testimony is voluntary with potential legal backing if needed. The Colville basis committee W. C. Wilwock, Mrs. Geo. Thomas, Al Miller will be joined by others next week as price panels may form in other towns.
