Southern Rights vs Unionism debated in Muscogee talks

Muscogee Railroad stockholders meet in 1860s session

At the annual Muscogee Railroad Company meeting Hon Grigsby E Thomas was invited to chair with John Forsyth as secretary. Resolutions included printing 500 Engineer Reports for distribution and sending copies to city editors. Directors elected with 1500 votes cast. Also discussed extending lines to Montgomery and Girard Alabama, and cooperation with those projects. A note on library counts followed.
