Go Big Read Recognized At Columbus High Awards
About 50 Title 1 students in Columbus received certificates of achievement at an awards program for completing the Go Big Read summer activity. Nebraska Head Football Coach Tom Osborne signed certificates and urged readers to help kids learn to read. Each child logged 930 minutes of reading with parents and colored Nebraska counties as they reached 10 minute milestones. McDonalds gave gift certificates and Dairy Queen door prizes, with Norman Ronnell as Title 1 administrator in the Columbus area.

Lakeview welcomes Colombian exchange student Oscar Mejia
