Daylight saving time ends as clocks fall back this Sunday
Americans will gain an hour of sleep this weekend as clocks revert from daylight saving to standard time at 2 a.m. Sunday. Hawaii, Arizona, parts of Indiana, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and American Samoa stay on standard time year round. Indiana’s counties vary with some remaining on standard time and others on daylight time. The 1986 law requires daylight time from the last Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October.
