Open House Set Humphrey Public School Renovation
Humphrey Public School in Nebraska hosts an open house to showcase a major remodeling project funded after years of bond proposal efforts. Duane Miller led efforts to revamp the aging building adding labs, media centers, a combined study hall cafeteria, new sidewalks and parking, plus new classrooms and expanded curriculum. The mill levy was reduced by six mills as renovation progressed. Families and the public can attend a 7:30 p.m. session Tuesday to tour the improved facilities and hear explanations from staff and trustees.
