Leonard Mnischer of Columbus received a special honor from the Nebraska Chapter American Society of Agricultural Engineers at their annual banquet Friday night. Dr Steward Withmuss presented a certificate recognizing Fleischer’s pioneering work in til-planting of row crops and the Buffalo Till Planter that places seed precisely at the right depth regardless of contour. Washington report says dock tie ups threaten to raise the price tag of farm support programs for 1972.
