Coast Guard Seizes 400-Foot Vessel Don Emilio

Flu shot scare trims clinic turnout nationwide
The deaths of elderly swine flu vaccine recipients stirred fear and depressed turnout at immunization clinics in several states. In Allegheny County Pennsylvania only 17 014 of 100 000 expected showed up as clinics reopened. Jackson County Michigan saw 3 560 immunizations from a 20 000 target. Nebraska unemployment rate falls to 4.1 percent
The State Labor Department reported Nebraska's jobless rate for September at 4.1 percent, down from 4.4 percent in August and 5.4 percent a year ago. The improvement reflects overall labor market gains and fewer unemployed residents statewide.
