Three jail escapees briefly free before recapture
In Lusk Wyoming a 18-year-old prisoner at Niobrara County Jail dug a wall with a shower plumbing tool Friday night and freed two inmates before climbing to the lobby and releasing keys. Police later recaptured the trio about 142 hours later in Torrington. The escapees were Jeff Walls of Omaha Nebraska James Franklin Valanty 24 of Los Angeles California and Paul Goosen 40 of Wisconsin.
