Albion secretary for the Soil Conservation Service Miss Adaline Stalker was honored at a retirement dinner at Albion Country Club attended by about 50 people. She served 14 years in Albion and 24 more after the office moved to Norfolk, receiving two certificates of appreciation.

CNTCC Area board approves Grand Island education center
The CNTCC area board vote 9-1 approved an Adult and Continuing Education center in Grand Island with a Dec 19 bid let. Project cost is about 725000, construction six to eight months, 16500 square feet in two modules for industrial and business occupations.
