Gas rates boosted in 37 Nebraska communities

Northern Natural Gas will raise residential fuel charges beginning December 27, adding about 90 cents per month for the average home heating bill. The rate hike, filed with the Federal Power Commission, reflects higher field costs, with wholesale increases also pending a decision. Communities affected include Columbus and Lincoln among Adams, Arlington, Beatrice, Beemer, Blair, Fremont area towns and others.

Gallup backs two term limit for Congress
