Dear Dr Lamb Burping and Xray Anxiety Help Letters
A reader describes constant burping at age sixteen and anxiety over swallowing air and gas. Dr Lamb explains the habit is nervous and offers a rubber eraser trick to raise awareness, plus avoiding gas forming drinks and a note about gas control. The second letter asks about child back injury and X rays, with assurance that typical diagnostic exposure, especially with a lead shield, poses no harm to reproductive organs.
