Veterans Day will be observed in Columbus Tuesday November 11 with an 8:30 am program at the Columbus Senior Foreign Wars. Disabled American Veterans lead the day with high school students participating and Bill Redrow as emcee. The American Legion Post color guard will display the colors. The Rev Donald Brooks of First Baptist Church offers the invocation and benediction. Columbus High Principal is asked to wear a hat. After the program veterans are invited to the VFW Club for free food.
