Harvesting weather favorable across Nebraska areas
Excellent harvesting weather prevailed in most of Nebraska last week though east central and southeast counties faced rain and fog. The Nebraska Crop and Livestock Reporting Service noted storage shortages piling grain on the ground, widespread warm temperatures lifted field drying, and varying soil moisture with topsoil short in 29 percent of counties and subsoil largely adequate.
