Nebraska Ensemble to Play at Columbus High School
The famous Nebraska Ensemble and Nebraska Chamber Orchestra perform Sunday at Columbus High School Auditorium. The free public concert, sponsored by Columbus Friends of Music, includes Handel Concertos Grosso Copland Appalachian Spring and Haydn Lord Nelson Mass with soloists Betty Galen Mary Lauber John Lauber and Dale Ganz. Conducted by Dr Robert Emile, the program uses players from Lincoln and Omaha symphonies and is funded in part by the Nebraska Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
