Platte Feeders Meet May 18 On Animal Care Topic

The Platte County Livestock Feeders Association schedules its spring meeting for May 18 at Kluly 61. Rites Held in Humphrey for Mrs Heesacker

Funeral services for Mrs Clarence Marie Heesacker 62 died at her farm near Humphrey from an apparent heart attack. Services Friday rosaries at Duesman Mortuary and Saturday at St Francis Church with burial in parish cemetery. She lived in St Bernard and Humphrey areas, married 1932, survivors include husband, three daughters and five sons.

Miller Named to District Agency by Prudential in Columbus

Tornadoes Strike Central Ohio Amid Midwest Storms

Severe weather lashed the Midwest with tornadoes and heavy rain. In Morrow County Ohio a trailer home was torn apart injuring two people, while Richland County escaped injuries after a road incident. other counties reported destroyed structures and overturned trucks as golf ball sized hail fell near Hondo Texas and rainfall hit areas around San Antonio and Tulsa.
